St Peters travelled down to Enniskeen on Monday 18th of April to challenge Schull for a place in the League semi final.
St Peters dominated the game from start with excellent long range scores from Jamie O Sullivan and Cathal Moloney. Dylan Walls and Liam Power dominated mid field from the throw in and supplied quality ball into the forwards who made the most of the possession.
The back line was held strong by Conor Lester who played centre forward and Jack O Mahony who resided in Full Back. Jack Stapleton made life extremely difficult for any Schull player to get the ball past him throughout the game, and unfortunately had to come off early in the second half with an injury. Conor Coughlan, although young, provided a great display of football while marking one of Schull’s best attackers.
St Peters won the game on a score line of 3-14 to Schull’s 1-08
We now progress onto the semi final against Kinsale in Carrigaline on Friday the 22nd at 12.30.
