On 19 September, 11 girls from 4^th and 5^th Year made the trip to Clonakilty to compete against Sacred Heart Secondary School.

The fixture was organised as a friendly and was the girls’ first match of the year. The match became close at the end of the 3^rd quarter with St Peters 16-12 down. The match ultimately ended 26-12 but the girls can be proud of the effort against a more experienced and practiced opposition. The scorers for St Peters on the day was Ella Ambrose (4), Precious Akinsanya (4) and 2 points each for Hope Onah and Erin McKinney. Next fixture for the girls will be against St Colman’s Community School from Midleton.
