Ploughing 2024!

It was a beautiful morning in Ratheniska County Laois when St. Peter's TYs arrived en masse to experience the Ploughing. It was a first time visit for most students and Mr Ryan their Year Head, and for many it will be the start of a long relationship with all things ploughing. For others it will be a box ticked and on a uniquely Irish experience. First stop for many was SOS cookies where students queued for half an hour to experience the hype. Others  queued for a similar time at O'Neill's GAA shop where one student described it as 'a war zone'.
