Senior Hurling

Our Senior Hurlers began their Hurling Championship with a victory against Coláiste Muire Cobh on Wednesday with a scoreline of 4-20 to 2-12 Seán Coughlan led the charge for the Passage side, contributing 3-14 in an outstanding display.

Paul Canty scored 1-1, with a fabulous goal resulting from him winning possession in the centre of the field before he beat four defenders and tapped the sliotar past the keeper. Seán O’Regan helped himself to 2 lovely points whilst Eoghan O’Byrne, Jamie McCarthy and Liam Quinn all helped themselves to a point each.

It was great for the team to have Justin McCarthy on the line to guide them and it was also a brilliant experience to use the fantastic facilities at Páirc Uí Chaoimh where the match took place on the 4G pitch.
