School day and instructions for Pre-examinations

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday will change as below for the duration of the pre- exams. Wednesday as normal

  • Students will go to their exam centre at 8.50 and study until their exam starts
  • Students must remain in the exam centre for the duration of their morning exams. If students finish their exam early, they must study until the end of the examination
  • Students who finish their afternoon exam early may only leave the exam centre after 2.15 pm.
  • Students cannot stay in the school once they leave the exam centre. They must remain in the exam centre and study, if they need to stay in the school until the exam ends. In particular students cannot remain in the C or D areas while exams are continuing and must be silent while at their lockers in these areas.
  • No food in the exam centres
  • Students must only attend school if they have an examination.
  • Students must remain in school each day until they leave after their final exam. Students are not allowed home at break times.

 

Normal school rules apply for the duration of the exams particularly in relation to uniform, mobile phones etc.
