St Peter’s travelled to Charleville on the 8th of March to play Kerry’s Castleisland for a coveted spot in the Ladies Football Munster Senior Final.

St Peter’s were on top from the start of the game with superb points from full forward Amy O Neill and Ellen O Mahony. Castleisland made a rapid responce by scoring two points in quick succession at the other end of the field. This however, drove the St Peter’s girls on as they took charge of the game. At half time the score was 4.08 to 0.03.

Erin McEveney and Amy O Neill were replaced by Andrea Moynihan and International student Sophie Stephan. Sinead Cahill took charge of the full forward line and scored an amazing four goals and a point.

Eventhough St Peter’s were missing some of our key players due to injury the girls were very impressive and we wish them every luck in the Munster Final.
